Microsoft decided we weren’t stressed enough with our PowerPoint slides, so it thought it would be a good idea to add AI to "enhance" our presentations. Why limit yourself to sweating over the content when you can also worry about an algorithm making you look like a genius or an idiot?

The Rise of Digital White-Collar Workers: But let’s not stop there. Google, not wanting to be left behind, gifts us NotebookLM, an AI assistant that promises to turn your chaotic notes into masterpieces of organization. Why waste time thinking when you can let AI do it for you?

1. AI-Powered PowerPoint: Now your presentations can be algorithmically mediocre!

2. NotebookLM: Why organize your thoughts when an AI can do it for you? (Spoiler: it might not get your sarcasm).

3. Thought Generator for Problem Solving: Why solve problems when you can generate thoughts? Who needs human brains, after all?

But wait a minute, if AI is doing all this for us, what do we have left to do? Maybe we should start worrying about how to spend our free time... oh, wait, there’s probably an AI for that.

Options: How to Survive the AI Productivity Apocalypse?

  • Embrace the chaos: Make your notes so incomprehensible that even AI can’t decipher them.
  • Become an "AI Oversight" Expert: The new job of the future is to ensure that AI doesn’t decide to turn your business presentation into a manifesto for robotic domination.
  • Start a band: AI can’t (yet) replicate the authentic mediocrity of a human garage band.

Cybersecurity: When AI Isn’t the Only Problem

But don’t worry, while AI is trying to steal our jobs, there are still human hackers out there working hard to make our digital lives a hell. The Arc browser exploit reminds us that, no, we can’t have nice things. And Firebase? Well, let’s just say "fire base" might be a more appropriate name considering how easy it is for hackers to play with it.

The Security Paradox: The smarter we get, the more vulnerable we seem. It’s as if every new tech gadget comes with a secret manual for hackers.

In conclusion, as we venture deeper into the uncharted territory of AI, one thing is clear: the future will be smart, perhaps smarter than us. But will it also be safe? Ethical? Or at least capable of making a PowerPoint presentation without putting the entire board to sleep? Only time (and probably an algorithm) will tell.

In the meantime, remember: keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and your personal AI... well, maybe it’s best to keep it turned off at night. You never know.
